Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful:

for today. I needed a good day and God blessed me with one.
that Morgan and Marissa are beginning to learn that beauty goes so much deeper than just what's on the outside
that Morgan is beginning to learn that there is so much more to this life than just her. Today I watched her love a complete stranger enough to give up something that she truly valued and loved.
that Daddy took Morgan and Marissa to the FunFest so I was able to just stay here at the house with Melayna and play with her and read to her and rock her. I seldom have that opportunity - and it was wonderful!
for a husband that truly LOVES his girls and shows them that every day!! I am truly blessed!

Morgan Kaylin is 21 years old and is currently in her final year of undergrad at Trine University where she is enrolled in the 3+3 OTD program and is becoming more involved in various student groups on campus. She continues to work as a certified water safety instructor; teaching swimming lessons along with life-guarding at the school and for our local lakes. She is an avid reader who is quiet and reserved in most circles but her witty sense of humor can really surprise you and make you laugh!

Melayna Grace is 18 years old and is in her senior year of high school. She is a member of her varsity cross country team and she also runs hurdles for her school's varsity track team. During this final year of high school, she will have the opportunity to work in an area elementary school for a work based learning experience and she will continue to love on her people at the local nursing home where she has worked for two years. She is a lover of horses and reading and we love her wild adventurous spirit.
