Nolan's Year End Awards

 Nolan had his year end awards celebration on Tuesday, May 21st during the day.

The event would begin with a 25 minute video presentation that the three fifth grade teachers put together and then at the end of the video presentation, they had the names of award winners on the screen.  Nolan would win an award for Music and Art and then he also received an award for High Honors since he received all A's all year long.  

Then, after the video presentation was complete, each class would line up along the wall of the gym and each individual student would have their name announced as they walked in front of the fifth grade teachers and shook their hands and received their certificates.  Every student had their name announced and every student had their moment walking.  

After the awards presentation, we were able to go back to their classroom where Nolan showed me several other projects that he worked on during the year and wanted to highlight.  Then he was able to go home early for the day.

It's always fun to go through the folders and notebooks at year end and see how far Nolan has come since the first day of school.  He really loved his teacher (Mrs Tucker) once again this year and is going to miss being  in school every day.
