What Else Is There? // Random Updates

 Here are some pictures that were on my phone showing other random things that are happening:

While the two older girls and I were in Indy, and Noel was at the relays with Melayna, Nolan was able to spend the night at Gramie C's house where he always loves playing with her dog, Mollie.

It's that time of the spring with my irises start to open up and to bloom.  The smell that they put out is always amazing - but it's always a stark reminder that it's time to get out and work in my flower beds.

The day lilies will open up soon...

The other day, we were getting ready to drive into town and one of the girls noticed a large "lump" just in our grass.  After closer inspection, we found out that it was a very large turtle making it's way across our driveway and up into the yard.  It didn't move while we were standing there so I'm not sure if it was laying eggs in the grass like they do sometimes, or if it was just walking across the yard.

We've done a lot of reading in recent days.  Nolan got started (and finished) the Renegades Series in about four days and Morgan finished off the last book in the Hunger Games series.

+++

I may have caught Nolan napping, which is a very rare occasion in this house.

On Tuesday morning, our Community Bible Study capped off another fantastic year with a Sharing Day event at the home of one of our leaders.  We had a beautiful time eating together and sharing about what we have learned during this past year of study in the book of Matthew.  I have been so blessed by my sisters in Christ who share their lives with me while also upholding my family in their prayers.  What a gift this CBS group has been to me in recent years.

+++

Nolan went with the sixth grade to a South Bend Cubs game for a field trip on Wednesday.  He was happy that the Cubs were losing to the Tin Caps and he also may have had some fun with his friends.

+++

Melayna was recognized for a couple more PR's this week

+++

We've enjoyed our evening walks along the lake

+++

And we might just be celebrating someone's 21st birthday this weekend.  'More on that one later.
